Hello,

I am Samara Volodin Muniz, a mental health therapist, specializing in trauma. I work with young people, adults, and families, with a special focus on trauma treatment, improving relationships, self-analysis, self-transformation, and multiculturalism. My approach is rooted in systemic and psychodynamic theories, and I have a deep knowledge of sexual therapy. I firmly believe that talking about happiness doesn't have to be complicated, stressful, or lonely. In fact, I believe that the pursuit of happiness can be a powerful tool for empowerment and freedom.

Through my website and consultancy, I am here to provide support to all those who are going through transitions in their lives. I want to be a point of support, offering empathy, knowledge, and genuine connection. My goal is to offer a space where you can find guidance and understanding in times of change and challenge.

Born in Brazil, specifically in Salvador, Bahia, my first experience of change occurred when I was only three years old, moving to the capital, Brasília. It was during this time that I began to understand the impact of changing scenery and regional diversity. As I grew up, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the cultures of two different regions, which became a fundamental part of my identity.

My journey continued when I moved to the United States in 2014. Here, I experienced the process of acculturation and the ongoing construction of my identity. I faced challenges as an immigrant, but also discovered the unique beauty of this experience, along with its barriers. It was a moment of awakening that drove me to channel my passion toward the mental health of immigrants, helping them grow, adapt, and promote emotional well-being.

Today, my work encompasses immigrants and non-immigrants, multicultural couples, and families in the process of adapting to a new city or country. I address issues of trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and other pathologies, always seeking to promote self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies, practice mindfulness, and strengthen self-esteem. My mission is to offer a space of support and growth for all those seeking a healthier and more meaningful life, providing support, knowledge, and genuine connection through my consultancy services, interactions here on the website, and social media.
